I've got several cases of high blood pressure and diabetes in my family. My dad is borderline diabetic but has had blood pressure issues for about 10 years. I'm only 24 but I figure if I start watching it early, it'll be easier to watch later.

Also my FIL has BP problems as well, even had a heart attack about 12 years ago and had to have a quad bi-pass surgery. He says that what happens when you live on a farm your whole life and eat 2 lbs of bacon and a dozen eggs every morning.

Mayhaps just a "random thoughts" thread for stuff not really worth a whole thread, like a good deal on a BP measurer? I just wanted to let anybody looking for one know this one works for me. It might also be useful for the survivalist guys' medical kits. I don't have much to contribute, gun-knowledge wise, mostly questions.

That's what they have guys like us ( Matt g, Stalkingbear, Canebreak, trueevil1313, jeepcreep, txhillbilly, Robo, etc ) for, to help those seeking knowledge.

The more good, like minded folks we have, the better it will be across the country when the SHTF.
