I was bitten by the sailboat bug shortly after college, when I found a junker at a garage sale. That was 1983. Moved up the sailboat food chain several times, and sat out sailing about twenty five years, busy with business ventures.
About two years ago, I started sailing again, and five sailboats later, I have settled into a 32' aft cabin center cockpit mizzen that is as big as my little lake will allow.
I imported her from LA, as not many 30' class sailboats in Nebraska.
She is more fun than any two girlfriends, and she never has a headache.
Boats are holes in the water we try to fill with cash, but this one is pretty good at being economical. So far. Second season with her in the water, at a private marina in a slip I lease yearly.
I think everyone on my dock is a millionaire except me. Lol. Some of them are so rich, they make millionaires uncomfortable. We all get along great, and no one acts better than anyone else.
So, any sailors in the waters?
