Default So you guys want to see a motor huh?

How about a 445 FE?

popfe445-020.jpg

I'll see if I can scan a copy of the dyno sheet. We want to run it again because the valves seated in a bit and were about .015" loose. We were in a hurry to get it to a show. It only made 462hp. There's at least 15 horse left in it.
We were pretty happy with the torque numbers though. Peaked at 535. We started the pull at 2900rpm and it was making 521ft/lb. It was making an easy 450 from 2500 to 5500....it'll pull.

Neither, it's an FE. It started life as a 390 but with the help of a stroker crank and some different rods it's now a 445. It won't fit in a Falcon without cutting the front clip off and using a tubular set up for fabbing your own.

It's currently for sale but if no one buys it, it will end up in my 67 fastback. If someone buys it, we'll build another.

It took many forms...332, 352, 360, 390, 406, 410, 428 and 427. There were configureations you could come up with.

This is pretty accurate on the motor information but some of the stuff they are saying about cars is way off.
