I voted for the Border Collie but that's me. I love herding breeds. Their "on the clock" mentality, the loyalty, the scary intelligence. (I always wink back, in case its a code)

If you've already got an Aussie, you should have enough experience to train up a Border Collie. Ace bein a mix, and cool one at that, should be interesting. The only thing better than a herding dog is a mixed herding dog! Go for it!

I am fond of the herding breeds, myself.

Well I may have found the one. He's located in Kansas, about 4.5 hours away from me, and is the age I was looking for (1.5-2 years). I've already filled out an application and have been in contact with the owners of the rescue and am most likely going up there Thursday to visit him. I'm still going to meet ace Wednesday but this guy has the longer hair which I prefer and reminds me a lot of my last dog who we put down last year

Im excited to see how this turns out. Either way, it's always cool to see a good dog get a new home.

My mom and I were talking about the border collie since I'll be borrowing her car to go get him because my Audi is too small for him and a crate. But anyways, she sent me this picture that a friend sent her. Apparently someone dumped him out by an airport in Yukon, Ok. Who could seriously do this...
