Default any computer programmers here?

I'm working on variables and it seems to me that this code is good but the online class won't take it.
Am I screwed up here or did I just simplify things too much for Khan academy or something?

Never mind. This sh!t is obviously fu@&ed up. I'll blame the stupid windows laptop instead of the website.
I just mis-typed on a line
var ear + faceSize * 1.1;
and the stupid thing said I missed a semicolon when the line should have been
var ear = faceSize * 1.1;

complete bs
I'm done for the night

Try turning off "auto correct"

We are simple gun folks. Are you trying to make us feel binary?

Well is that a "yes" or a "no"?

Shouldn't all variables have a common naming convention?

Var_Face
Var_Ear
Var_X

It can make finding them a few months from now much easier, also you can quickly count usage by counting the times a unique name is written in the code. X will exist in other places besides variables but Var_X will likely be unique.

Absolutely.
It's just such a simple program and test that I wasn't too concerned.
I ended up starting it over and when I got to the final part that was being an issue I refreshed the page and un-simplified the variable and the system took it.
I ran a few tests on the variables and everything seemed to function the same.
I look forward to hearing from the academy on the matter. I'm still not sure if it was a pc based issue or if I outsmarted the test.
It wouldn't be the first time that I found an issue with an online class like this. I often found errors with the exams from a gunsmithing class I took for sh!ts and giggles.
