I think I ordered them out of the back of a comic book, but that was 40+ years ago and I can't remember for sure. I do wish I knew what happened to them though. I think my youngest brother happened to them but am not sure.
Didn't they make them out of lead or pewter back in the day?

The whole topic is backa**wards.. Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks have it right by deglorifying war. Show that death is permanent and war is hell.

My buddy and his siblings grew up strict and sheltered, both his sister's are now straight up whores...

I lived at the beach when I was a kid and I would set up huge battles in the sand dunes. I could eat up hours outside ...... the good old days

I'm worried that by the time I have kids society will corrupt them. Already we are raising a new generation of scared, close minded, nurtured, media trusting, government trusting, helpless, lazy, cowards. It's because of things like this. Kids need to be kids. Let them learn and think on their own.

Man I was born in 1963, So I was a kid through the mid 60's through the 70's. We all had the army men, a slew of different guns (NONE with those infernal orange tips!!). We used Lincoln Logs and the plastic bricks (not legos) to make all kinds of different places for these valiant plastic warriors to fight and die.

The world has changed a whole lot in my time on this Earth. The hippys are running the show and look at what's happened.

Don't worry about all this Nancy Boy propaganda. No nation has been taken over by pale faced, pimple ridden fat kids. The danger has always been from the "Barbarians" at the gate.

...I remember drinking out of the irrigation hose thinking it was no big deal as a kid. Now...if its not reverse osmosis filtered and blessed by a 11 government agencies...you're not allowed to drink it...and God help it if it has sugar in it and over 16 ounces in someplaces (wink).

Damn, I was 4 years old when my dad were stationed in Schofield barracks Ft Shafter. There were around 28 children on my cul de sac, Everyone of our fathers would bring home tons of cool stuff, camo facepaint that I remember was hell when my mom would scrub it off, chem-lights, MRE's all kinds of cool stuff. All of us played army, we had huge forts and hundred's of GI joes collectively. Pushing them down ziplines, Parachutes from plastic bags, popping firecrackers. All of us had a blast from sunup to sundown. We would just disappear till our mothers came calling.

Those were the days man, we had it good.
