Default ammo hog...

I'm pissed off I went to pick up a couple boxs of 7.62X54R for my mosin and they're pretty much out. All I could get a hold of where two boxs of PPU 150GR soft point. The guy at the counter said some guy came in that morning and bought up all the FMJ they could get there hands on. Same thing happened a few weeks ago, it just pisses me off when people do this I know it's there right but it's just annoys the hell out of me.

Have you all ever had this problem?

I've yet to run into that since as of right now I've only got .22s to worry about feeding. But after seeing how many guys around me own ARs, I migh run into that problem when I buy my AXIS. I do see why that would be a little annoying though.....just means you've gotta get the jump on them next time haha

I hate that too. I do stock up on 5.56 rounds for my AR though. I use M193 ball rounds and when the shop i go to orders the bulk cases i go stock up on them. I wont take more then 50% of theyre stock though. Last time they ordered they got in 3000 rounds(6 cases) and i bought 1000(2 cases) of them. For $110 a case i cant beat the price anywhere.

My local Walmart won't allow that. They only allow 3 boxes per person, per caliber, per day.

It's a great policy

My walmart barely has any ammo. If you get lucky you can grab handgun ammo there but anything else dont even bother trying.

You should be shopping online for the 7.62x54R stuff, it's dirt cheap and usually includes the shipping.

I don't buy much of anything online, I prefer to get my stuff from the local gun store walk in with cash walk out with ammo no waiting required. It just anooys the hell out of me last time I went into get ammo the same thing happened I think he or she is doing it to piss me off last time I went in to get a couple of box of 357 mag and 7.62X54R same thing. I talked the guy into holding a few boxs back for me next shipment, I hope it goes smoother.
