Default American Eagle

What do you guys think about AE ammo? I have a good bit in bulk and like it ok for plinking. I like the fact that it is cheap and reloadable.

I shoot .380 ACP, 9mm Luger, .40 ACP, and .45 ACP Federal FMJ ammunition for target plinking, and do not have any issue with these calibers.

I just put about 50 rounds of American Eagle 9mm 124 gr FMJ through my Glock 19 and I could not believe how clean that gun was.

I used to shoot it a lot before I started reloading. I am still using some of the brass. I think I shot off the last of my AE .40 S&W the other day (I found a box in the back of the ammo bunker).

I like it a lot better than Winchester USA. And almost anything is better than Remington UMC, which has to be the dirtiest non-corrosive smokeless ammo I've ever used.

I bought 500 rounds of 158 grain high velocity for my 686 before i started reloading. Still use the brass. Good stuff IMHO.
