That's still not to bad. I'm just looking for something that looks/feels similar to an AR since I'm dying to shoot one, especially for gophers.

Of course were all safer, no one is going to shoot someone with a pellet gun that only goes 495fps, it's only the 500+FPS ones that give people the crazy thought to do such a thing.

An addition to the family... I wanted something larger because I've never purchased or even shot a full size handgun before, figured in an airsoft would be perfect for me. Also it is lighter weight due to it being full polymer, known as ABS plastic. This too has selective fire, with functional safety, semi auto and full auto selections on slide safety switch. I can't wait to test this thing out!

Not sure if the original it's modeled after is DA/SA with decocker or not, but this one isn't. No decock, have to load round then use safety for cocked-n-locked.

The HFC Beretta M190, non licensed so without Beretta markings, but near exact duplicate. Weighs in just under 26oz. There are full metal versions, but they cost over double what this one does. A good deal on it finds you shelling out about $80 shipped...

This one doesn't appear to have a removable tip, so some nail polish remover and sharpie or black paint would work. I think I'll simply leave this one as is.

you shouldn't be reusing BBs like you said that you do. It can damage and destroy your internals. I would only reuses BBs if I was shooting a crappy springer.

me and some of my other SRT teammates used to train with airsoft,we had MP5s and M4s that shot at like 500fps "nice ones". we had a vacant 3 story building that used to be a middle school at our full disposal that we trained in. we used to have a blast

building entries with barricaded suspects, hostage situations, felony warrant entry, active school shooter, fugitive apprehension, K9 searches, &rooftop repelling entry. we trained ALOT, airsoft is a great firearm alternative for training

That's all I have right now is a cheap springer. I didn't know about this though. Can you explain why, I can't make sense of it.

mostly because after you shoot the BBs, they can develope flat spots and become "out of round". they will not be at the proper size tolerance and can jam up on you or get caught inside your internals causing other problems
