Default Advice from spitty...don't get metal in your eye

So the other day my eye starts hurting and sure enough, there is something in it. I go to the doctor today and they numb my eye, take a needle and dig a small piece of metal from my eye. Then they take this little buffer(looked like a mini die grinder to me) to get the rust out. 5 hours later my eye is swollen, sore, the drops burn like a bugger and I'm missing work thanks to the headache and watery eye which is making it hard to see. Good times....

Ouch. Sounds painful.

How did that piece of metal get into your eye in the first place?

How did I know your eye would make that poor innocent piece of metal rust? Seriously take care of it and wear safety glasses next time.

I honestly have no idea how it got there. I always wear safety glasses and didn't even notice anything until I got in bed Tuesday night. The best part was when the doctor wanted me to get some $150 eye drops....yeah, right...I got the generic for $15.

I see you conveniently ignored my remark about your eye making the metal rust. LMAO Hope it feels better rusty.

Could it be that your super powers have advanced from just rusting metal when you touch it, to actually attracting rusty metal.

You’re like a walking , rusting, Spitty magnet

you only get one set of eye, ears, nuts. So what does that tell you. WEAR PROTECTION.

This happened to my father and now his one eye is all effed up. He caught a piece of steel belt out of a truck tire.

got a highschool welding teacher with a non-functioning right eye from a somewhat similar story. Took a piece of welding slag to the eye and now he has to make due shooting lefty.
