Default advice on range rules

Hello all.
So i finally found a range near my college here in super upstate NY. Turns out it was only 5 minutes away. So I got a membership ($10, cant beat that). So my question is this. I am not looking for a definite answer, just your opinion based on experience. Do you think the range would mind if I brought 2/3 friends along to teach them how to shoot? They keep bugging me to come along because they really want to shoot. I dont want to make them pay for there own membership since i am making them buy their own ammo.

Check with the range to see if they allow guest with the members.

If not, just tell your buddies to cough up the cash.

Considering the cost of the range I am a member of, $10 is cheap.

Is it worth that much to your friends? If they say it is too much, then they really do not have much interest in shooting, but are willing to waste your ammo.

No 2 ranges will have the same rules. MY range allows me to bring guests- and I pay $5 per guest. At $10 for a membership, why not be a sport, and "gift" your friends with a membership?- then you will have someone to shoot with.

My local range has a set fee of $10 per shooter, but they only allow one shooter per lane so you can tell them only only of you are going to do shooting or most of it, and they'll let you swap people in and out of one lane.

The shooting range by me charges $10 dollars
for male guests, and $5 dollars for female guests.

I would just give them a call. At worst it'll cost you $20 to educate your friends.
