Additions To The Family
Just got home with the newest additions to the family. S&W 15 and Mosin Nagant M38. Both have been used and came pretty dirty. I will be having a blast taking them down and cleaning them very meticulously tonight  . Paid the guy $140 for both guns - and a $35 transfer fee to the dealer (the guys LTC expired and in MA, both the buyer and seller have to have a license for face-to-face transfers otherwise a dealer has to do it) So $175 for both out the door is pretty good. 
First thing to do is get some nice grips for the Smith, followed by some touch-ups to the Mosin.

The trigger on the Smith had some work done to it. It only requires me to think about squeezing the trigger to fire. I would never carry it for personal protection, just range time - exactly why I wanted it.

Bayonets are evil in MA. I'm pretty sure I could have a M44 with one, but somewhere, some cop will think otherwise.
Just finished cleaning the Mosin. The guy didn't take the barrel off the stock when he cleaned the cosmoline off. **SIGH**
