Actor Patrick Swayze Dies of Pancreatic Cancer
Actor Patrick Swayze died today after a 20-month battle with pancreatic cancer, he was 57. Star of Road House, Ghost, Dirty Dancing, and Red Dawn to name some of his memorable movies. He was a fine actor and his talent for portraying convincing characters on screen and his dynamic life off screen will be sincerely missed.

I'm not too surprised that Swayze lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. It was deemed terminal but I'm glad he had the body of work to remain in peoples' memories.
R.I.P. Patrick.

A great actor and a great person. One of a handful in Hollywood who stayed faithful and married for years. "Only the good die young"..

Swayze was married to his life long love for over 34 years. They met when they were teenagers and still were together at the end. Extremely rare in Hollyweird.
R.I.P. Mr. Swayze!!
I too, have loved your movies and always felt you were a quality person.
May the next sound you hear be the horn and fluttering wings of Sleipner as your Valkyrie escort you to the Golden Halls.
