No particular order:

Dr. Strangelove: Or How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.
No Country for Old Men
Saving Private Ryan
Reservoir Dogs
Full Metal Jacket

I'll throw The Unforgiven in there also as a tie with one of the others.

Saving Private Ryan
Enemy at the Gates
The Harry Potters
Oceans 11, 12, and 13
Inglorious Basterds

I've already got a headache just thinking about this. How do you limit your favorite movies to five? Oh well here mine of the top of my head, and this list is subject to change.

1. Star Wars
2. Ben Hurr
3. Harry Potter
4. I can't decide which John Wayne movie but one them.
5. The Wizard of Oz

Honorable Mentions:

Forrest Gump
Cool Hand Luke (Cool hand was my nickname in jr. high)
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Spartacus
10 Commandments
The Matrix
And probably a few dozen more - thought of the Dirty Dozen when I typed that.
