I'm making this thread as an opinion/poll thread. Post what you think are the 5 best movies ever made, no matter the genre. I'll go first. Going from number 1 to 5. Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Goodfellas, Gran Torino, and Shawshank Redemption. Mini-series (i.e. The Pacific, Band of Brothers, Generation Kill, ect) count. Have fun!

I can't really tell you top five, maybe top 50 in no particular order, but you've got some good ones there.

Yeah it was hard after #2. I got a thing for crime/mafia and war movies. And my favorite Star Wars is Episode II: Attack of the Clones, the second being Empire.
