yep, mustard, mayo, 10 pounds of taters, 1 dozen eggs, 1 can of olives, pickles, onions, seasoning, all the good stuff. Made it Thursday night for a party Saturday (that i couldn't go to) so that all the flavors would blend together properly by party time.

On the boat. Fishing. On the lake.

I have a little 14 ft Jon boat- and there is a 65 acre fishing lake close by. No gasoline engines, but TWO electric trolling motors will put that one on plane! Due to my lady's CNS disease, I would not think of taking her out on the river, but in a good life jacket, I can take her out on the lake without worrying.

She caught her first fish (tiny little bass) last year, had a ball. We are going to head out Monday morning early. Lake has lots of little coves and nooks, spots you can fish in the shade, etc.

You can usually pick out my boat pretty easily- it's the one with the muzzle loading cannon mounted on the bow.

BTW, local volunteer Fire Dept held it's Independence Day celebration last night- hot dogs, assorted kids, cotton candy, country music, fireworks. It was a blast. Was sitting in the bleachers having a BBQ when a cute blonde sat down next to me and started flirting with me shamelessly, right in front of my lady.

About the cutest little 3 year old you have ever seen. Her folks were sitting one row back. But alas, she was only interested in me for my french fries.....

Told her Daddy if he did not own a shotgun, he had about 12-13 years to pick one out. He would be needing it. He grinned, said, Yep- but he's got that covered.
