Do that, because it needs something. The 50th has no special model from the factory? Cmon Ford. Really?

Rest assured there will be. The Anniversary is a major factor in the redesign from what I've read.
We'll likely have to wait until right before or after they hit the streets before we know more about it.

Looked yesterday and pricing isn't even available yet not can you 'build' one on the website yet.

I too am curious about a true anniversary model.

When you can buy an econo-box with better handling than your flagship, the time for a redesign is well past due. I'm pretty excited to see them bring the brand into the 21st century. What I think would be a very interesting development in a year or two is to see if Ford can take this platform and make a real competitor to the BMW 3 & 4 series and the Cadillac ATS, probably under the Lincoln badge. Or maybe that would be the niche for one of the specialty Mustangs.

i am a Ford guy, and have owned several of their vehicles over the years. That being said, the new version of the Mustang looks like a cross between a Toyota Celica and a Volvo sedan. I am not impressed.

I don't know how many on here remember the Mustang II, but I have to say that they looked more like a Mustang that that thing does. i miss the days when you could look at a car or truck from any angle and tell what it is. Make and Model, not by the badges on the side or the "bumper".

Maybe after a couple of years, the design of it will become more appealing to me. For now, i will pass on it.
