It's been on Facebook the last couple days. A friend that lives in Ohio heard them all riding by.

I hope that's true I hope they didn't give up on it
Definitely is going to cause a traffic jam since they were denied the permit

Just heard through the book of face that the DC police have contacted the 2 million bikers...

They've apparently informed them that they're going to try to prepare and help manage their route, whether anyone likes it or not.

*applauds DC police if true*

Permit was submitted to National Park Service which is completely separate from DC police.

I'm sure the police will work with them on managing traffic, some of those roads are 1 direction only depending on time of day and thousands of lost bikers would just be chaos.

Had similar thing happened here in California where they were denied a permit and then the organizers were charged for all the police and over time

I'll be willing to bet the trash clean up will be a lot easier than it was for the occupy morons or the million religion of peace marchers on the same day.
