I usually just place the ball on the barrel like a tee pointed strait up.... The ball goes high enough you loose sight of it....

Next up will be a thread entitled, "Why golfballs are the best home defense ammo".

I wonder how far you can drive/launch a golfball with that thing and are there specific rules against it's use at driving ranges?

Back in the day, we used to fire cleaning rods out of our M16's with blanks. Probably not smart but it was fun!

Fun with pyro! Our Guard unit trained in Ft Drum year round. The Racoons up there are the size of small bears and attacked us every night. We occasionally retaliated with TOW Blast Simulators dipped in Peanut butter and Cocoa Beverage Powder strung up at the base of trees and wired to 9 Volt Batteries.

One year, my entire platoon had multiple Ricky Tails on our antennas as we left the post and the CSM of the post happened to be out on the parade field as we drove by. By the time we got home, our SM was waiting for us with a warning from the big guy, "leave the F'n Racoons alone or we will court-martial your asses!

So ended the Ricky Free-fire zone...

I always liked seating a primer in an empty case, putting it in my gun and pulling the trigger when cleaning the gun with my ex hubby in the room. Was funny to watch him freak out.

Another of those, not smart but fun, things.
