This is the biggest piece of BULL S i've seen in a long time. I've me Lee, he's been to my place of business 3+ times, i've been to 3 fundraisers of his. This might actually give my letter a little more leverage than the average.
In addition to LEE i've also emailed very similar letters to:
assemblymember.wieckowski@assembly.ca.gov
Senator.corbett@senate.ca.gov
This absolutely puts a president for other states. If CA, can pass this, we'll follow the same formula.
Dear Senator Leland Yee,
I have been to 3 of your fundraisers, 2 in Fremont one in Palo Alto. My
family, co-workers and I have donated to your re-election campaign and will
no longer do so if this passes.
Your bill SB249 is miss-guided and seems slapped together by an ill-informed
individual with their head in the sand literally making tens-of-thousands of
previously law-biding citizens outlaws. Do not pass this bill, it is in direct
violation of right have firearms. Our founding fathers knew the risks of
having firearms among civilians. The benefit to individuals freedoms was so
important, they made it the 2nd amendment. Right after freedom of speech!
Bottom line, this passes you have lost allies, voters and loyal campaign
contributors.
You are a good man albeit miss-informed, I believe you will do the right
thing. We will make our society a safer place without treading on the very
rights every American/Californian is entitled to.
