You can always go out to Four Peaks.

It is legal to shoot on most any BLM land. Please pick up after you are done shooting.

Best outdoor range I've been to is the Casa Grande range. It's free.

Blazer1975, west of Surprise, you bet! Go out W. Patton Road to Ogden Rd and all of the desert to the south is BLM land.

Don't feel like going that far? Go to the intersection of Hwy 74 and 211th then east on 74 bout 2 miles. There are several roads that go into the foothills and all of them have places to shoot. My GPS shows N. English Wells Rd. Just be sure to stay out of the Surprise city limits.

Hope this helps!
