My first .9 in the service was an old beat up HP I bought as a "personal" defense gun for a TDY to Central Am. in 1980..that 180 Day TDY turned into 270 Days...
Bought that Hi Power with 5 std. Mags and then found 2 ext. 22 rounders that I took with me also....!

A store locally here has them just over 500 with the rubber grips, siglite sights and a laser. Not bad at all for one form what I've seen on buds or gunbroker.

The cheapest here is $850 for the .380....of course the most outrageous price I have seen is $1100 for a Kel-Tec PMR-30 .22 Magnum....
Then we have one of my regular LGS's who tries to keep the costs down. can get a Used 1911(a Colt no less) for $550...

If you shop around you can get good deals. I paid $560 or so for my brand new P229r and it came with the SRT and night sights.
They are pricey and worth the $$ but if you get a deal on it, even better.

Kahr's PM9 has been my EDC almost 5 years now...

Scott would never admit it by my review pushed him to this fantastic little 9.

CM9
It is 6+1, disappears in a front pocket with a holster and goes bang every time. Pretty darn accurate too.
