World war 2 japanese medals
I have some Japanese uniform pins that my grandpa brought back from ww2. Does anyone know where I can find some information on them?

If nothing else I would LOVE to see some of them! Many WWII buffs have a fascination with German stuff but I always found the Japanesse stuff far more interesting!

These are the ones that I have the only thing I know about them is that they probably came off of Iwo Jima.

I'm lazy. Would send a polite email to the Japanese Embassy, attach GOOD close up photos, and request their assistance.

In all seriousness, I would attempt to find a museum dedicated to WWII and more specifically the pacific theater if possible.

Just looking around on google there are many websites that sell Japanese WWII items. Id try contacting one and seeing if they can help you out, they may even be interested in buying.
