Our poor baby TM. I have to wonder how we'd feel about him, if he beaten GZ to death.
This ties in nicely with your post, I think:

Overkill, thank you very much. I'm going to use this video: Not as fact, but a starting point of research and to make others think.

Yup. The man's judgment does not appear to have been improved by the trial. Of course, divorce is a stressful situation in which many otherwise sound people can act out dramatically. It is also a situation with a lot of "he said; she said"; if I recall correctly, early reports had GZ holding his future Ex- and her father at gunpoint.

The earliest reports say that he beat his soon to be ex father in law, and threatened her with a gun.

Now, they (the wife and her father) are saying he never laid a hand on anyone, and she "doesn't remember" ever seeing a gun.

Who knows what's up, and who cares? When the cops arrived on the scene, they found no sign of a physical struggle and didn't find a gun on him at all. No charges filed, and no one taken into custody.

Sounds more to me like a woman scorned and raising hell.

Truly. Of course, that is not to say this man is going to be joining Mensa anytime soon or that I would seek his advice on anything deeper than "vanilla or rocky road?".

they are going through a divorce. has nothing to do with his shooting someone in self defence or the trial to prove his being not guilty.

have you ever been through a divorce? i have. they aren't very nice sometimes and lots of emotions involved.

That's true. I don't view him as the brightest bulb in a box of potatoes by any means.

There's simply no story here. It looks like his wife got mad, called the cops, and made up a story which she later retracted.

As Axxe mentioned, a divorce is a very hard emotional time on everyone.
