The George Clooney movie "The American", where he custom made a Mini 14 for a female assassin. He takes her out to the Spanish countryside to test the rifle and after missing her first shot wide to the left, they show a closeup of her adjusting the windage with the top knob on the scope.

How insulting. Germans make only quality weapons.

I remember when the Glock arrived in N.A. It was an "undetectable plastic gun" and airplanes were going to be hijacked by the dozen as the world would go to he!! in a handbasket.

I must'a slept in that day. I missed it all.

Kevin Costners 21 plus 6 gun shooter in the opening on the towns gun fight........Of Open Range..

They say...Bruce Willis In Tears Of The Sun carrying his M16 carbine with his EOtech sight system mounted backwards, I've watched repeatedly and from what I can tell the scope and iron are aligned correctly. But my once eagle eyes now require corrected assistance.. lol

Rambo 2, IIRC. Sitting in the front seat of a grounded Huey, 3 rescued POWs in the back seat. Bad guy in gunship hovers in front of an apparently dead Rambo. Rambo snaps upright from a sprawl, and fires an M72 LAW thru the windscreen of his aircraft, downing the bad guy.

1. The M72 has a contact detonating warhead. Would explode on hitting his own windshield.

2, It's a freakin' ROCKET LAUNCHER! Rocket comes out the front. Blast of rocket motor comes out the back. Will kill anyone with 15 meters of the back of the launcher. Hey! Guys in back seat- been nice knowing ya!

the Silencer on a Revolver.

The Winchester Mdl. 92 was used in Civil War novies. The Old 92 was used by Calvary Units in the Indian Wars movies. Never happened. Hollywood removed the forearm wood and often painted the receivers yellow. The 92 could fire the 5 in 1 blank cartridge so it was a cost cutting issue.

The Matrix-In the hallway death scene where Agent Smith(Hugo Weaving)

is firing his .357 DE at Neo, you can see you can see the crimped

blank ejecting over the slide...

ALL westerns, before the shorter "race gun" pistols, especially during the

era of the Colt Dragoon-style guns, cowboys kept their pistol holsters

mounted upon the saddle of their horse. The standard belt rig we now have

is modern.

The Outlaw Josey Wales, he sends the raft on a "Missouri Boat

Ride" and you never saw the scoped rifle before that scene, or since.

In the WWII movie "Kelly's Heroes" there's an American sniper using a

Mosin Nagant 91/30.
