What's yours?
I like the Winchester Lever-Action Repeating Rifles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winchester_rifle#Winchester_Lever-Action_Repeating_Rifles |
Colt 1873 saa 1st. generation.

Burgess folding pump shotgun

Going on just the history of the gun, I would have to go with the Mosin Nagant. It has an amazing history that very few guns could come close to beating. Going on Iconic, I would go with either the M1 Garand, or a 1911A1.

This one, but then I'm biased. :p

1911a1 or a 1903a3
|
I would have to say the M2 due to it's signature sound and how much fun it is!

So many game changers out there from the Mauser 98, colt saa, Henry, Winchester, just about every design John browning came up with, but my fav would have to be the m1 grand. Fast reload, long distance shooter, exceptional accuracy.

What was that derringer that Booth used, some .44 or other?
But seriously, probably the Kentucky Rifle style of muzzle-loading rifle from the frontier era. |
