I'll say it tomorrow!

I'll drink a beer in silence when I get off work.

My Dad was there D+3. He was a doctor - never would talk about what he saw. He was also among the first medical teams to enter the death camps -told my Mom in a letter, "I would have never believed a human being could do this to another human being."

My uncle by marriage was in the second wave at Omaha Beach. He said it was impossible to keep from stepping on bodies of soldiers from the first wave. My first cousin died at St. Mere Eglis on D-Day.

i knew a couple dozen guys who made the D-Day landings; now they are all gone. God bless them: They were the Greatest Generation.

They were indeed the "Greatest Generation."
