I then walk the show again slower this time and pick up the stuff I need. Also I find it good to be the first ones there if you are looking for something hard to find or later on the last day if its a more common item. Oh and bring cash I don't know how many times a wad of cash makes people want to make a deal when they were firm on their offer just seconds before.
Does anybody not bring cash to a gun show? I didn't know they even accepted credit cards!

I am philisophically opposed to credit card use for this sort of thing. If I don't have the cash I can't afford it. Not only that but as a small business owner (where we do not accept credit cards) I know that the vendors will jack their prices up to pay for the CC's and they will dicker down for cash.

Went to one here a few years ago with my brother and mostly the stuff we were interested in we found was was junk.

Went to one here a few weeks ago and at least there was one booth with a good selection of quality small parts and had what I was looking for. Most other stuff was still junk.
However, I did get a good deal on a neat, little TENS machine.

I love gun shows! It's great for getting reloading components and bulk ammo buys. I like saving on that pesky shipping and other charges. Sometimes if you keep your eyes open a deal will fall out. The one I go to most there's a lot of trading that happens in the halls. Old farmers with case knives and sometimes some interesting guns. Especially of your a trader gun shows can be a lot of fun. At any rate a day lost in a crap-load of guns is a good say to me.

I had a decent one here. Most prices were normal. Some were a little high. One fella was selling a gen 2 glock I don't know the model, beat to hell for $500.

I bought a complete upper for a good price. Ammo was high everywhere but one place was normal. Some really nice stuff there too.

I always take cash, most vendors at are local gun shows charge an additional 3% to the purchase price if you use a cc.
