Gun show raped us fifteen bucks to get in, and the tables were pretty bare. No deals. People were not attending. Dealers complained the tables were too high priced.

I will not go back to that gun show two hours away. Fool me once. .......

Default Bad shows!

Have not been to any here In Az. yet...by the time the local one rolls back around we have to hope things are better, although ammo supply & prices are starting to improve.it was nice to score 200 asst. rds. of .9mm at Big 5 for just over $100!

I would have to agree with the above, the prices are still to high. If you are lucky you may find something at a good price. My $.02

They are still good in Florida. Prices were negotiable two weeks ago in Orlando, and a lot of black, "scary guns." Even the LGS have the scary guns now. The show also had ammo at reasonable prices.

$9 to get in, two good size buildings. lots of stuff to look at. Come to Orlando.

Went to the Ontario gun show a few years ago,
Before things went crazy.
Cant comment on the prices.
Hate dealing with people who think that brass, is gold.
Anyway,
almost went over a table to grab this Adam Henry selling old collectible ammo.
For years I have wanted some real, for my collection,
some British cartridges from the "Dum Dum" arsenal in India.
Yes their was really a "Dum Dum" arsenal.
The A.H. behind the table looked at his partner and shared a giggle.
I don't like to deal with idiots.
Well my friend pulled me down the aisle and calmed me down and we left.
Used to go to the late great Pomona gun show twice a year for years. A great show.

Guys you are being taken by your LGS not the manfacturers or the distributors. I have a very good friend that has a shop and I often see the merchandise invoices with the distributors prices. Nuff said. Food for thought; if the cost to the LGS's has skyrocketed, how is it that Wal Mart can still sell their ammo at about half the price as do the LGS's.

Large gun show in town this weekend. Things are definitely getting better. Shorter lines, more buyer discretion. Ammo much more available and both gun and ammo prices coming down. Still have a mix of gougers and realists. Fairly quiet at the gouger tables. Less anxiety, room to walk around and compare prices.
