Gun show in Red Bluff CA

A friend and I are going to the gun show in Red Bluff this Saturday just to see whats out there. Last time, I heard someone sold a 500 rd. box of .22 lr for $125.00
I want to see what is what now. Might see if I can pick up a "curio or relic".
Any interest in a report ?

Yes. Is it a Richard Day Show? I think his daughter Kelly is running the show now. My brother and I used to own the sporting goods in Red Bluff. Closed in 2001. If you live in the area, I recommend the Tehama Shooters gun club.

I havent heard Richards name in ages. I remember when he had a little hole in the wall shop in Anderson back in the early '80's and was really into Black Powder.
I will check out the Tehama Shooters club. I live on the Tehama side of Cottonwood so I go to Red Bluff often.
I will post prices and perceptions when I get back Saturday.Maybe even pictures if I can figure out how.

When I lived there, the annual membership was $35. The Tehama Sheriff's dept and Red Bluff PD had the exclusive use on Wednesday's only. On weekends if there is no event, the range is open. If there is an event you are welcome to participate. On other weekdays you could open the range and shoot then close when you leave. The rifle range is measured out to 1K yards and meters too. On those really hot summer days when there isn't a whisper of a breeze, I used to ring the 1,000 yard target with my 220 Swift. There is also a seperate rimfire range and shotgun range.

I spent $6.00 to get into the gun show Saturday. Then $.2.00 for nachos. That was the best buy of the day. Ammo was WAY overpriced. Saw several 500 round boxes of .22 priced from $115. -$125.00. $10.00 for a 50 round box. All other ammo was at least $1.00 per round and some much higher.
Guns were extremely high too. I did see several tables selling 80% lowers from $120-$170. Complete AR's going for 1200- up.
Like I said the nachos were the best (and only) buy for me yesterday.
I keep hoping the craziness will end soon but I dont think it will in California.
