All you you Remington scatter gun fans can rejoice as ATI is now advising that they are shipping their Halo Side Saddle for the 870.
From the company's press release:
(Milwaukee - Mar 4, 2014)- Advanced Technology International (ATI), the leading manufacturer in gun stocks and firearm accessories, is now shipping the Halo Side Saddle System for the Remington 870.
After strong demand for a counterpart to the Wisconsin company's Halo Side Saddle for the Mossberg 500 and 590, ATI has released a Halo Side Saddle for the Remington 870 platform. ATI's Remington 870 Halo Side Saddle will allow the end user to add up to 7 shells to the receiver of their shotgun.
The Halo Side Saddle System is constructed of military type III anodized, 6061 T6 aluminum and features modular Add-A-Shell shotgun shell holders for the end user's complete customization.
"After the success of our Mossberg Halo Side Saddle, it was a natural transition for us to move the Halo product line to the Remington 870 as well," said Jon Shaffer, Director of Business Development. "The Halo will be the only top-mount, modular shell holder on the market for the 870, and we anticipate support from both the consumer and law enforcement sides alike."
The Halo Side Saddle and Add-a-Shells can be purchased both individually and in packages including five or seven Add-a-Shells that come with a 5.5" picatinny top rail for simple optics mounting.
Attention to detail can be seen throughout ATI's design from its simple mounting on a drilled and tapped receiver, to the intricate lines in its construction that give the product a sleek design that has become a trademark of ATI.
ATI's Halo Side Saddle System for the Remington 870 is backed by the company's limited lifetime warranty and is available now at www.atigunstocks.com and will be shipping to select stores beginning in Mar. 2014.
